Bonnie Robert-Burke


Bonnie Roberts-Burke, is a leader of a top sales group at RLAH, Real Living At Home. She is known for her unending energy and dynamic determinism. Her more than 20 years of diverse real estate experience includes residential sales, development, team management, and project sales expertise in both cosmopolitan and metropolitan communities. Bonnie specializes in a wide variety of properties, from downtown condos and co-ops to high-end urban and suburban single-family homes. Real Estate is a passion for Bonnie; she claims that this is the perfect profession for her (she has terminal curiosity). Looking at properties, and visualizing what could be is a strength she brings to her clients. Her marketing skills are enhanced by her ability to stage properties, something she learned working in community theater, building stage sets. Bonnie has been very active in the real estate community. She was the 2014 President of the DC Association of Realtors and has been on the DC Board of Directors continuously since 2010. She served on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Realtors from 2014-2018, and currently serves on committees on the local, state and national levels and teaches the required Ethics class to Realtors. All this experience makes her extremely knowledgeable about the issues relating to real estate, which is enormously beneficial to her clients. Bonnie utilizes her background in education and counseling. As a former adjunct professor at American University Bonnie has honed the ability to communicate information necessary for her clients for them to make informed decisions. A background in counseling has taught her how to listen carefully to her clients, to pay close attention to each person’s individual needs. Her interpersonal abilities have aided her in developing a rapport with her clients as well as with other realtors, which serves her clients well.

As a younger woman, Bonnie directed a crisis intervention center for teenagers. This, more than anything else, honed her negotiation skills; Bonnie is a strong negotiator. A manager once said to Bonnie, “I hope I never have to sit on the other side of the table from you.” What a compliment! Bonnie is a strong advocate for her clients, an invaluable skill. Bonnie is the consummate professional, a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), the highest credential awarded to residential sales agents. She pursues integrity and expertise in every aspect of her life. She has the knowledge, skills and work ethic to work tirelessly to find out what clients truly desire and to make it happen. David J Burke


David Jon Burke has been a Realtor for over 20 years.  He earned his Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) endorsement many years ago. David is known for his steadfast patience and unending positive regard for his clients. David has always gotten along with people and is known for making his clients feel comfortable.

David spent his young life following his passion for cars. Starting as a technician, he moved into sales, being in the top 10 salesmen in the U.S. for the brand he was selling. His next step was to become the Business Manager, a position he held for many years. As his wife, Bonnie, grew so passionate about Real Estate David decided to join her, and segued into Mortgage Banking. He was a terrific lender! His clients loved him.

As Bonnie’s business grew she finally convinced David to join her as a Realtor. They have been happily working together ever since. It is a partnership that works ever so well.

Erin Mc Cleary

Melanie Friedson


A 4th generation Washingtonian, Melanie Leah Friedson has lived all over the world feeding a passion for helping others. Before beginning her career in real estate in DC and after graduating from Boston University, she taught English in Buenos Aires, Argentina, worked for non-profits stateside and served in the Peace Corps in North Africa.

Ultimately, however, she decided there’s no place like home especially if that home is in the District. Melanie and her family have been involved in real estate in the DC area for many generations and she is proud to continue the legacy through her own passion as a licensed Realtor since 2009. It has been firmly engraved in her mind that real estate is the best investment one can make to better his/her life.

Geoff Clopton Jr


Geoff Clopton Jr joined the Bonnie Roberts Burke group in 2013.  Previously Geoff worked with his father and grandmother as a three person sales team with a combined 75+ years of Washington DC real estate experience until their retirement.  Geoff has been licensed in MD, DC and VA since 2003 and in 2010 got his Virginia broker’s license and eventually his DC and then Maryland broker license.

Before entering real estate, Geoff co-owned a successful restaurant group and learned what it takes to negotiate contracts, work with all types of personalities and keep and set goals.

Geoff has served as a director of the area real estate association, headed several community affairs committees and has been active in Rebuilding Together in DC and MD.

As a youngster, Geoff helped his grandmother, Marcia Clopton put up for sale signs all across the city and suburbs and followed in his father’s foot-steps continuing the family name in the real estate industry.

Geoff has sold homes ranging from multi-million dollar estates to chic studio condos and is a strong advocate for his clients and their interest.  Geoff believes experience + integrity + a pinch of grit = happy clients, good business and lots of referrals.  Geoff is driven to do the absolute best for his clients.

Sean Patrick Garganio


Sean Patrick Garganio has a true passion for real estate. His background in general contracting, running multi-million dollar projects both residential and commercial, led Sean to buying properties in the metropolitan area to renovate and sell.
